Tarot readings can offer the sitter (you) great insight into a specific question or life event. The cards objectively show the underlying situation, providing great detail as to what is happening right now for you, and what might be coming up for you in the future based on the current trajectory of your thoughts, decisions or life patterns.
Oracle cards work in the same way, but I would say use gentle imagery compared to a traditional tarot deck. They offer uplifting messages and provide guidance and insights to tell you what you really need to know right now. They can also predict the future based on your current thoughts and emotions.
During a reading the cards may predict aspects of our future, however, I believe this is not set in stone. My belief is that we have the power, as individuals, to influence our future. I say this because I believe asking yes or no questions can limit our potential, or limit opportunities that might be available to us.
In my opinion, it is best to ask open ended questions to get the most out of your reading. The information that comes through during a reading will often provide insights around a specific situation and the likely outcome based on current thoughts and emotions. If you ask an open ended question, you are opening yourself up to more possibilities and the recommended guidance from your spirit guides.
